Print Consultant: Matt-of-All-Trades (Matthew Cushing)
Project Manager: Julia Kaufman
Photography and Writer: Jon Davis
Established in 1984, the firm offers general consulting, strategic planning, site selection and analysis, build-to-suit and speculative development, financing, design/build construction, general construction and construction management services.
Sorry music fans, we’re not talking about Lynyrd Skynyrd: Josh Crankshaw is the marketing manager at the McShane Companies (pictured on the left). He has worked in marketing & project management for various AEC (Architecture, Engineering, Construction) firms over the years. On the the right hand side is Jim Gray, the graphic designer who put these incredible design concepts together).
Fun fact: Josh was a Project Manager on the Cushing production floor!
“CUSHING HAS BEEN MY GO TO FOR LARGE FORMAT DISPLAY GRAPHICS FOR A WHILE NOW. PRICING IS COMPETITIVE AND THE QUALITY OF THE FINISHED PRODUCT HAS ALWAYS BEEN OUTSTANDING.”
Construction banners to saddle stitch books, The McShane Companies and Cushing have collaborated on many projects. Now McShane was on the move … into a new office space. And an interesting creative opportunity: empty walls were inspiration to consider environmental branding. How so? By shining a spotlight on personnel and company projects through branded graphics. What a statement to welcome staff into their new home!
Let’s dig a little into the details. Direct print-to-acrylic to dimensional letters, unique elements make this installation impossible to ignore, and fun to explore. Aerial views adorn acrylic prints (and close ups of construction projects) & much more.
Installed with stand-offs to spruce up hallways, they are colorful and engage visitors.
PILLAR OF THE COMMUNITY
Ever wondered how you can pep up plain pillars?
At McShane, columns highlight scenes from the new office construction, team members on job sites and tell a story.
Our favorite part? Yes, those are magnets with company employee photos.
Swapping personnel names, it’s as easy as taking one down and putting a new one up. Magnetic material makes it possible and efficient to acknowledge team members.
Imagine being highlighted on this wall of fame!
Don’t forget the large format wall graphics and click to see more on our services page. Diamond shaped acrylic highlights concept development to operations, with descriptions of each phase in the construction process.
Informative and appealing, designs invite everyone from visitors to staff members to take a closer look.
“THE FINAL PRODUCT LOOKS GREAT AND WE HAVE RECEIVED QUITE A FEW COMPLIMENTS FROM EMPLOYEES, CUSTOMERS, PROSPECTS AND CONSULTANTS.”
