Another summer in the books for Cushing. Unfortunately, the Cubbies did not repeat, but we have plenty to smile about. After thirteen years at 420 W. Huron, our team moved a few blocks over to 213 W. Institute Place. Many guests, customers, and new clients have visited and we hope you’ll stop by soon.

In 2015, I started as a Customer Service Representative at Cushing. I didn’t know anything about printing and, short of admiring a skyscraper from the ground, had little knowledge of the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction industry.

Chicago is a city rich in history. As a Chicago native, I’ve learned a lot about our landmarks growing up. I know the Tribune Tower has famous artifacts built right into it. The Mart was the world’s largest building when it opened, and the Willis (SEARS) Tower the tallest when erected.

Last week, Cushing had the pleasure of joining the ACE Mentor Program’s Design Build Team at the unveiling of their summer project. We got a sneak peek of the team in action, and attended a presentation where they took turns describing the process to friends and family.
