That’s a Wrap!

THE DO’S AND DON’TS OF TRAILER WRAPS

Vinyl-wrapped construction site graphics give work sites a higher profile. Customize the look of your trailer using graphics that are unique to your business!

A vinyl wrap is a great option to give your trailer a new look, advertise, and recruit – all without damaging your paint job. They can protect your structure’s surface and camouflage minor imperfections like dings and scratches.

BE BOLD!

Consider customizing your trailer graphics with company branding, messages, or images that reflect specific projects. To highlight different projects, or when the trailer is moved to a new site, replacing or refreshing the trailer wrap is simple.

Construction Trailer Graphics

WHAT SHOULD YOUR GRAPHICS INCLUDE?

  1. AN EASY-TO-READ WEB ADDRESS AND/OR PHONE NUMBER.
  2. A STATEMENT OF YOUR AREAS OF EXPERTISE.
  3. EYE-CATCHING, MEMORABLE GRAPHICS.
  4. STICK TO SANS SERIF FONTS.

PRO TIP: MAKE SURE YOUR LARGE FORMAT GRAPHICS PASS THE “SQUINT TEST.”

We love this trick, and as silly as it sounds, it really works! Print your design on letter-sized paper, stand back six feet, and squint at it. If you can easily read the text, it will be readable from a distance at the final size.
If your graphics will be viewed by passing traffic, treat them like a billboard and limit yourself to 7 words or less. Including more words or incorporating more complex design will run the risk of your message becoming diluted, keep it simple!

While you’re wrapping the trailer, consider vehicle wraps for your trucks and equipment, too. Used consistently throughout your fleet, graphics can enhance brand awareness and help strengthen your market position. That’s where Cushing comes in.
